The 10km is a “trail run” although we do understand most runners walk the hills. Rather enter for the 3km or 5km if you would like to walk. No dogs/pets allowed at the venue or on the trails please. Both the 5km and 10km is timed.
The 3km is a non timed walk/jog/fun run.

You can claim vitality points for the timed events.

This iconic road race is a favourite on the Cape Town Running Calendar.  We have a Half Marathon, 10km Run, 10km Big Walk and 5km Fun Run.
This will be our 10th Year Anniversary, so come on, be part of the Slave Route Challenge Powered by Brimstone. We start at the City Hall in Darling Street and Finish on the Grand Parade.

Groot Constantia Vineyard Run

GROOT CONSTANTIA VINEYARD RUN

Wednesday, 5 February. From Simon’s Restaurant in front of the Deli.

If you run the 10km, it is highly recommended that you bring a head torch. It gets dark around 20h20 on the 5th of Feb.

300 PRE entries available. Entries will close once sold-out or on 3 February at 20h00 – whichever happens first.

If there are entries left, we will have a “late-entry” option on the day of the run from 17h30-18h30 on a first come, first serve basis.

Pre entry fees:

  • 10km – R190.00
  • 5km – R160.00

Your entry includes:

  • a R50.00 Groot Constantia voucher which you can spend at either Simon’s or Jonkershuis Restaurants at Groot Constantia or at the Wine Cellar. Your voucher will be handed to you when you register/receive your race number on the day of the run.
  • Each runner will receive a “non plastic” shopping bag. #plasticfree

Description: Come experience this exclusive opportunity to run on the 5 day Whale Trail hiking route and fantastic vibe at the finish area, in peak whale watching season.

Starting in Potberg the runners will run through indigenous fynbos seeing Proteas and Erica’s in abundance. They will cross rivers and run atop ridgelines before running onto the rocky shores of the Indian ocean. The trail will snake along stunning paths that drift from the beach into coastal forests and along fynbos-covered hills. Runners will experience breathtaking views and possible sightings of the Southern Right whale. When they finally reach the end of the trail in De Hoop Nature Reserve, they will be filled with a peace and a sense of accomplishment for having completed a trail made in heaven.

If 53km is just a few steps too far, there’s now also a 35km route starting and ending in the same glorious places, with a well designed cut through that still gives you a taste of everything that the area has to offer

Run2Nowhere

Run2Nowhere, a Run for Everyone, Come experience 2-days of running on the amazing trails in the tranquil little town of McGregor. Most trails are unique to the Run2Nowhere and access to trails are exclusive.

Experience the beauty of the Klein Karoo, the route offer a great combination of short steep climbs, loose and rocky downhills, great single tracks and jeep tracks for recovery. Runners will enjoy beautiful scenery and views of McGregor town.

The route is suitable for trail runners that would like to attempt their first multi-day race and offers three distance options, the McEasy, McClassic and McBrave. It is also a perfect training weekend for runners preparing for longer distance stage races later in the year.
