Welcome to Hope Virtual Marathon – South African Challenge First edition.
This is a Fund-raising event to raise funds for ALL Covid-19 victims as well as Kids who have been left orphaned or impacted by this pandemic.
The event will take place on February 21, 2021 at 9am, South African time and participants will choose between 15km, 30km & 45km race. Further details will be provided to participants after registration.
After successful registration, participants will receive Caring4Hope wristbands which they will wear during the race so they could take pictures which will be shared on social medias.

The Twilight Train Run Series is a mid-week lifestyle trail run offering a holistic outdoor experience once a month. The Twilight Trail Series offers an exclusive trail-running experience suitable for runners of all types. Participants enjoy the pristine, breath-taking views while running through private vineyards chasing the Capes Magnificent sunsets. This lifestyle trail running event will be held at numerous wine farm locations based in and around Cape Town (Stellenbosch, Durbanville, Elgin, Constantia, etc.). There are two routes which our runners can enjoy; a 6km run (perfect for beginners) and a 12km (for the more experienced runner), these routes are pram friendly making it suitable for all ages.

Route: Start at The Striped Horse, go over the pedestrian crossing and turn right into Main Road, turn left into Gill Road, left into Park Road, Right onto Boyes Drive, turn left onto Silver Mine Hiking trail, follow this route until it joins up with the jeep track, follow the jeep track until Silvermine gate 2, cross Ou Kaapse Weg into Silvermine one (adhere to the marshals at all time), turn left onto Ou Wa Pad, turn right onto Silvermine Road, turn slight left onto Noordhoek Road, cross to the right-hand side of the road at the pedestrian crossing at Sea Cottage Dr, turn right onto Hou Moed Weg and finish at the brewery.

FARMER ANGUS NIGHT RUN
These runs will be at “The Shed”, on Spier Farm – Off Annandale Road, which is the link road between the R310 and R44.
DISTANCE OPTIONS:
• 4km or 8km. Both are timed. Various categories.
The 8km is a “trail run” although we do understand most runners walk the hills. Rather enter for the 4km if you would like to walk. No dogs/pets allowed at the venue or on the trails please.
• You can claim vitality points for timed events.
• Registration and late-one-the-day entries from 17h45 – 18h50.
• Run briefing – 18h50 for all distances.

This iconic road race is a favourite on the Cape Town Running Calendar. We have a Half Marathon, 10km Run, 10km Big Walk and 5km Fun Run.
This will be our 10th Year Anniversary, so come on, be part of the Slave Route Challenge Powered by Brimstone. We start at the City Hall in Darling Street and Finish on the Grand Parade.
