SPIER TWILIGHT RUNS  2019

11 OCTOBER,  1 NOVEMBER,  22 NOVEMBER,  6 DECEMBER,  20 DECEMBER

Kicking off summer twilight runs, don’t miss this vibey fun event on the beautiful Spier estate

Food and drink:

There will be a take-away food and drinks station at the start/finish line. If you intend/want to have a “sit-down” meal after the run, please “pre-book” a table with Vadas Smokery & Bakery – 021 809 1137.

DISTANCE OPTIONS:

• 5km or 10km. Both are timed. Various categories.
  • 3km fun run/walk/jog. Not timed

The 10km is a “trail run” although we do understand most runners walk the hills. Rather enter for the 3km or 5km if you would like to walk. No dogs/pets allowed at the venue or on the trails please. Both the 5km and 10km is timed.
The 3km is a non timed walk/jog/fun run.

> 10km – starts 19h00 – For the slower runners: Please bring a head torch to ensure you don’t get caught in dark towards the finish.
>5km – 19h10 start
>3km > 19h15 start

Chapman’s Peak Half Marathon brought to you by Hout Bay Spar is an amazing half marathon and 10km that is run along Chapmans Peak Drive to Noordhoek and back to Hout Bay. Runners get to enjoy a run along the Atlantic Coast between Hout Bay and Noordhoek in the Cape Peninsula which is one of the most spectacular marine drives in the world.

We are pleased to let you know that Chapman’s Peak Drive will be closed to all traffic.

Runners are encouraged #RunGreen #RunClean and to remember that this is plastic-free run.

Wednesday, 13 November  &  Wednesday, 11 December.

300 entries available. Entries will close once sold-out or 2 days before the event at 12h00 – whichever happens first… If there are entries left, we will have a “late-entry” option on the day of the run from 17h30-18h30 on a first come, first serve basis. In this case, your “late entry” fee will be R20.00 more. No refunds or “carry forward” options, once you’ve entered.

Entry fees:

• 10km – R195.00
• 6km – R175.00

Your entry will include a R55.00 Groot Constantia voucher which you can spend at either Simon’s or Jonkershuis Restaurants at Groot Constantia or at the Wine Cellar. Your voucher will be handed to you when you register/receive your race number on the day of the run.
