NEW TITLE SPONSOR – AN INSPIRED PARTNERSHIP

We received amazing feedback about last year’s False Bay 50 from athletes, sponsors and other role players. Strand Athletics Club is proud and grateful that Kia is to be the Title sponsor for the 2023 False Bay 50. Their involvement proved invaluable to the success of last year’s event. Their sponsorship not only assists with running costs and logistics, but they will again be supplying utility vehicles for setting up and cleaning up before and after the race, as well as supplying luxury sweeper vehicles. Participating Kia Branches will also play host to race pack collections on Saturday, 6 May from 10h00 until 16h00.

2023 COMRADES MARATHON QUALIFIER

The Comrades Marathon Association announced that the 2023 FalseBay50 Ultra Marathon will be accepted as a special once-off 2023 Comrades Marathon Qualifier race. The event is not only a perfectly timed last long run in your Comrades preparation, but now also offers an opportunity for runners to improve their seeding.
