Nedbank Tour de Tuli – the wildest ride in Africa
The Nedbank Tour de Tuli stage event, now in its 18th year, is an award-winning, exclusive African mountain biking tour, offering 350 riders access to single tracks, unmarked routes and ancient game trails across wilderness areas in three countries. The event, hosted in July for 4 days and 5 nights, is the primary fundraiser for the Children in the Wilderness organisation.
Children in the Wilderness is a non-profit organisation supported by conservation tourism company Wilderness Safaris, the Nedbank Tour de Tuli and countless volunteers. Its aim is to facilitate sustainable conservation through leadership development and education of children in Africa.

A jewel of a MTB day race in the heart of the Overberg. Try one of four distances: 15km, 30km, 45km or 55km, and take part in arguably one of the most beautiful mountain races in the Overberg with abundant flowers and awesome scenery! A somewhat challenging course in places but it surely caters to new and advanced cyclists. The Napier Wine & Patatfees MTB race delivers exciting routes with mostly single and jeep track. The town of Cullinan will come to life when mountain bike thrill seekers overtake the town for the annual “diamond rush” that is NISSAN TrailSeeker series.
With winding single and dual tracks that are not normally accessible, trails are pristine and include river crossings as well.
The longer routes may include some wildlife sightings, riding on the verge of a massive waterfall and through a cave!

True mountain bikers know that Van Gaalen cheese farm needs no introduction, one of the oldest and biggest mountainbike parks in South Africa with over 110km of trails, in some of the most unique and beautiful nature spots in the Magaliesberg.
Van Gaalens have a reputation of being extremely tough, and only for the advance mountain biker, but we’re planning to change that, in true Nissan Trailseeker fashion we’ll go find all the best trails out there and make sure to keep the “Fun Gaalen” factor on a high. The venue is also superb with magnificent views and lots to do for family and friends.

The Nissan Trailseeker Series stops over in the heart of the Cape Winelands and arguably the best trails in SA. The picturesque town of Wellington is a scenic 45 minutes’ drive from Cape Town, with lots to offer to visitors both on and off the bike.
The beautiful Bosman Family Vineyards is the perfect venue to host such a fun and family friendly event. New additions to the legendary trails will be unveiled, with challenging and enjoyable features for riders of all skill- and fitness levels. Riders can look forward to an idyllic ride with panoramic views, with 10km, 20km, 40km and 65km routes on offer.

The Nissan Trailseeker returns to the magnificent valley of Hemel & Aarde close to Hermanus in 2019. The area flaunts a diverse array of mountain biking trails catering for all levels of riders. With panoramic views of vineyards surrounded by majestic mountains and glimpses of the coastline, it is no wonder that the area seems like it’s heaven on earth.
The Hemel & Aarde routes have claimed their fame from the Wines to Whales and the Cape Epic and need no introduction, but exciting new additions to the routes will ensure a memorable time on the bike for all. Riders can choose between 10km, 20km, 40km and 70km routes on offer.
The valley provides visitors with endless opportunities to explore with a variety of different activities to try and new things to discover, perfect for the school holidays.

Just north of Pretoria close to Roodeplaat dam, lies a bushveld haven filled with trails made up of farm roads, cattle paths, dual tracks and strategically designed single track for mountain bikers and the Nissan Trailseeker event. The terrain is hard and rocky amongst the grasslands but does boast some rivers and canals. Wildlife can often be seen on these routes, so keep an eye out for some buck species. The routes form part of the popular Buffelsdrift Trail Park.
