Africa Challenge

Why you need to Get Involved?
Kenya and South Africa have both produced some of the greats in world running, but this event is all about which country’s athletes have the most heart. The country that can put the most runners out on the road on race day will earn bragging rights as the ‘powerhouse’ of African running, so this is your chance to don your national colours and run for national prideUsually, only a handful of the top elite athletes get to officially represent their countries in running, but this event allows every single runner throughout the country to be part of their national team. All you have to do is sign up to run for your country!

Your Entry will also help to feed the hungry…
Besides running for your country, you will be supporting our chosen charity, Outside the Bowl, as 10% of each entry fee will be donated towards their work. Outside the Bowl’s goal is to eliminate starvation in impoverished communities by building Super Kitchens, and working with established community partners to serve hot, nutritious meals to those who need them most.

And We’ve got Still More For You
Our official Media Partner, Modern Athlete Magazine, is fully behind our event and wants to give you a free subscription to both their monthly magazine, covering road, trail, track and multisport disciplines, and their weekly newsletter filled with events and special offers, all sent to your inbox free of charge.

Optional Extras to Add to Your Entry
All who complete the challenge will receive a Digital Finisher’s Certificate and Virtual Medal, but we also have a beautiful Keychain medal as well as amazing event tees that can be purchased with your entry!
Please note: Race merchandise is unfortunately only available to participants in Kenya and South Africa. Due to financial constraints, we will only be placing the orders for race merchandise once entries close, to ensure we order correct amounts, and this will mean your medal and/or tee will only reach you up to 15 working days after the event.
