The Chintsa Trail Run was started in 2013 as a fundraiser for the Chintsa Running Club. International adventure athletes have rated it as one of the most gruelling and beautiful trails in South Africa. One of the main attractions of this event is the route diversity and the pristine trails which take runners through usually inaccessible farms and coastal forest (special permission is obtained from all private landowners).
This year the event will start and end at Emerald Vale Brewery. The epic route remains with an additional value add to make it a 44km CHINTSA ULTRA. A fun family friendly 8 km trail is also on offer.
Emerald Vale Brewery offers a festive atmosphere for family and supporters. The restaurant and bar will be open.
