There is nothing better than midweek night time fun through the historic vineyards of Groot and Klein Constantia with a super festive post-race vibe at Jonkershuis Restaurant. Lots of prizes on offer, wine tasting from Groot Constantia and a guaranteed bottle of wine valued at over R130 for every finisher will ensure a great evening. Different routes each week challenge the racers and excite the trail newcomers and of course the Come as CRAZY and COLOURFUL as you CAN competition on the final night where there is always a wacky winner.

If you were part of the inaugural event you’ll know what to expect and 2019 promises to be bigger and better. This time around there will be 2 days of the best trails South Africa has to offer. Saturday will offer one of three distances to choose from; a 15km Challenge, 35km Warrior and 65km Extreme. We’ll end the weekend’s festivities with a 20km Experience on Sunday. Based in the Overberg, runners will experience the beauty and peace of the Napier countryside while traversing our local mountain range and crossing stunning vineyards. It is a wonderful day out for the whole family! Expect jeep track, gravel roads and a little tar as you start and finish through the beautiful town of Napier. Stay for the weekend to experience all the activities our town has to offer.
A Trail Run in the heart of the Overberg. Try one of the three distances: 18km or 14km or 8km Fun Run/Hike. Take part in the beautiful mountain scenery that is in full bloom. The route was specifically built to show off our gorgeous area and bring 360° views for miles in every direction. Normally private land, the local farmers have agreed to open the route for the day. A challenging course that caters to new and advanced trail runners, the Napier Wine & Patatfees Trail Run delivers exciting routes with mostly single and jeep track. Join us for our 26th Patatfees, we have an incredible Trail Run and weekend planned! It’s a wonderful activity for the whole family!
