The TWK Assegaai 3-in-1 Marathon is a scenic marathon offering beautiful views and great Comrades preparation. The route follows rolling hills down towards the Assegaai river (for 42.2km athletes) on the road to eSwatini (Swaziland) before turning back to Piet Retief/Mkhondo.
All three distances start & end at the Piet Retief Rugby Club and are out & back routes.
Our water tables are always well stocked and spirited volunteers provide support and refreshments every +- 2kms.
We pride ourselves on being a small but fun race – going strong for 30+ years!!

Looking for a Obstacle Course Race with an authentic bushveld feel? Take on a truly South African OCR in Nelspruit!
As the gateway to Kruger National Park, the area is renowned for wildlife sightings and an authentic bushveld feel. This provides the ideal space for participants to bring out their inner Warrior and take on a truly South African OCR race. A bushveld trail run coupled with a set number of obstacles which vary in number, and difficultly depending on the category entered.
